Joiner is the reporter who first broke the story that quickly went around the world on what is now known as "Stephenville Lights." Sorrells saw a UFO on his property and was first interviewed by Angela K. Brown with the Associated Press and his story soared around the world. Joiner later did two stories on Sorrells' still unexplained harassment after he went public.
